DiCiccio Calls Out for Head to Head Debate with Union Bosses' Lawyers

DiCiccio for City Council

Phoenix, AZ – Today, City Councilman Sal DiCiccio responded to blatantly false complaints filed by the firm, Coppersmith Schermer & Brockelman. This is the same Democrat firm that represents the Government Union Bosses, and the same firm that represented the failed recall attempt against DiCiccio. DiCiccio is demanding a head to head debate with whomever is willing to come forward and be the face of these false attacks.

"This is an election year and the Government Unions and their bosses are doing all they can to intimidate me. They are actively doing mailers, telephone calls and door to door in my district in order to stop me from supporting fiscal responsibility in budgets that drain their slush funds for pay raises and bonuses. It's not going to work."

DiCiccio has been taking on the government unions in his quest to clean up City Hall. He has spoken out against the food tax and the fact that Union Bosses were walking away with millions of hardworking taxpayer money called "pension spiking" and release time.

"I welcome a debate on the issues affecting the citizens of Phoenix and look forward to their response. I want to see if they are going to hide behind the curtain or if they will come out and publicly defend their clients."

The two law firms actively attacking DiCiccio are well known Democratic firms. The firm of Coppersmith Schermer & Brockelman and the Torres Consulting & Law Group, LLC, both have strong ties to unions and the Democrat Party. They have filed numerous false complaints against the Councilman in an attempt to harass and intimidate him. Coppersmith's firm was the leading law group defending the recall against the Councilman and The Torez Group is currently behind Campaign for Better Neighborhoods, the illegal campaign committee that is actively mailing, phone banking and doing door to door activities attacking Councilman DiCiccio and without disclosing their funding source.
